We had nice weather luckily on our flower arrangement workshop day. Ten people enjoyed (I hope) Ikenobo school’s flower arrangement class.

Everyone seems to like flowers, so that is a main reason we get together at the community room. We did freestyle as usual. Everyone did nice arrangements. It is always good to see people enjoying their encounter with plants. We have all the
different plants from many other countries. We can never meet with all of them in our lifetime, which is why we cherish the plants we do meet.

Freestyle has no rules or set forms, so it is nature and your creativity to extend a plant’s character, strength and volume. We and nature have to take good care of the plants and keep up in the right situation. Nature provides wonderful flowers and other plants for humans to arrange, creating and bringing up even greater beauty and enjoyment.
