Annual Meeting and Luncheon
12:30pm to 3:00pm at Poughkeepsie Galleria Community Room
Most of our membership was able to gather on Sunday, March 22 for the annual meeting and luncheon. We were very happy to have such a great turnout and see everyone together.
Although the onigiri bento boxes were a little behind schedule, we had some entertainment while we waited: a video performance by the Mujin Taiko group. We also had a short greeting and presentation of finances from the board members.
The bento choices were very tasty and it was nice to have warm miso soup with our meal. There was also a buffet of wonderful salads and side dishes. Everyone seemed to enjoy chatting and catching up over lunch. We also had an active mini-market with many items for sale.
Members also had a selection of snacks to take home: rice crackers, chocolate treats and mandarin oranges. It was so nice to see everyone enjoying a meal together! And we look forward to finding a way to celebrate MHJCA’s 25th year anniversary!

年次総会および昼食会
午後12時30分〜3時00分 会場：ポキプシー・ガレリア コミュニティルーム
3月22日（日）、年次総会および昼食会に、会員の皆様の大部分にご参集いただくことができました。これほど多くの方々にお集まりいただき、皆様の元気な姿を拝見できたことを大変嬉しく思います。
おにぎり弁当の到着が予定より少し遅れましたが、その待ち時間を利用して、太鼓グループ「Mujin Taiko」による迫力ある演奏ビデオを鑑賞し、会場は大いに盛り上がりました。また、役員による短い挨拶や、会計報告も行われました。
お弁当はどれも大変美味しく、温かいお味噌汁が添えられていたのも嬉しい心遣いでした。さらに、彩り豊かなサラダや副菜のビュッフェも用意され、皆様、昼食を楽しみながら和やかに歓談し、近況を語り合っていらっしゃる様子でした。会場の一角ではミニマーケットも開催され、様々な品物が販売されて賑わいを見せていました。
また、会員の皆様にはお土産として、どら焼き、おせんべい、チョコレート菓子、みかんなどのスナックをお持ち帰りいただきました。皆様が食卓を囲み、共に食事を楽しんでいらっしゃる姿は本当に素敵なものでした！そして、MHJCAの創立25周年を記念するイベントについても、今後どのような形でお祝いできるか、検討を進めていきたいと考えております。
