Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon
March 30, 2025
Reflecting on our recent Annual Meeting and Luncheon, held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Poughkeepsie Galleria Community Room, we are thrilled to share that it was a fun and delicious success! From 1 PM to 3 PM, the event was buzzing with energy, cooperation, and fun.
This year’s highlights included:
- A captivating slide show highlighting key moments of our past events. All of us there were glued to the screen.
- Engaging event questionnaires, conducted by Mrs. Taeko Yanagida, which provided invaluable insights.
- The launch of small-scale mini markets, provided for those who like to sell a few items but do not need a whole table set-up. an exciting addition to our initiatives.
We are especially excited to announce that the results from the questionnaires have inspired us to organize a special luncheon and plant swap event on May 18th. We believe this will be a wonderful opportunity to further connect and grow together as a community.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and we are deeply appreciative of your time and dedication.
2025年3月30日（日）にプキプシー・ガラリア・コミュニティ・ルームで開催された年次総会と昼食会を振り返り、楽しく、美味しく過ごせたとお伝えできることに感謝しております！午後1時から3時まで、イベントは活気に満ちて、皆さまと協力しあい、楽しく過ごすことができました。
今年のハイライトは以下の通り：
- 過去のイベントの重要な瞬間をハイライトした興味深いスライドショー。参加者全員がスクリーンに釘付けになりました。
- 柳田妙子氏によるイベント・アンケートの実施。
- 小規模なミニ・マーケットがスタートしたことで、テーブルのセッティングは必要ないけれど、ちょっとした商品を販売したいという方にも楽しんでいただけるようになりました。
上記のアンケートの結果、5月18日に特別な昼食会と植物交換会を開催することになりました。これは、コミュニティとしてさらに親交を深め、共に成長する素晴らしい機会になると信じています。
年次総会と昼食会を成功させるために精力的に活動してくれた素晴らしいボランティアの皆さまに心から感謝します。皆さまのご尽力は決して忘れられることはなく、私たちは皆さまの時間と献身に深く感謝しています。
