Calligraphy Workshop No.3
8/27/23 Calligraphy Workshop No. 3 at Poughkeepsie Galleria
Having fewer participants at a workshop always has some advantages – being able to pay more attention to each student and discussing Japanese history, culture and philosophy relating to what we are writing. So, that was what we did at this workshop.
I certainly love and enjoy seeing the improvement on each writing. Even though it may not look significant to the students themselves, it is there. I also found that my own writing needs to be improved! It is a learning experience to teach others, and it is such a rewarding thing to do.
I look forward to continuing this opportunity in 2024.
